2001 BMW E38 740IL

It’s a land yacht not a race car folks, the strut bar is only because i like the way it looks. But with those simple subtle mods under the hood i also replicated all the OEM under hood decals/warnings to maintain the "OEM" look. Powder coated the valve cover gaskets and managed to find new side and top engine covers that werent all scratched up. Also added dual piston brakes and calipers from a 750il

Changed the front seats to E39 sport seats in the front with contours. All new leather seating, then re-sprayed trunk from grey to black to match custom trunk floor holding the air suspension and 1 12in sub . “M” sport steering wheel with M stitching. Silver gauge rings and painted red dials. Updated in 2025 the trunk set up to include a new "FLO" billet tank, recessed design and fiberglass offset sub enclosure with a "fake" rear wall.

Alpina front lip, 1998 amber corner lights and side markers, rear black lip spoiler, all new lights front and rear and added angel eyes in the front. Updated grill. Power folding ext mirrors from a 750. Gloss black roof wrap. Took the exhaust out the rear bumper instead of hidden downpipes from the factory.

Staggard 20in Alpina wheels style 32's with floating BMW center caps.

Airtekk stage 2 bag kit on BC coil shocks, management with 2 compressors and a new FLO 4 gal tank.

BLUEbus blue tooth maintaining OEM look in the center stack, all new door speakers, removed rear speaker deck to allow the 1 12in JL sub to come thru, then Reupholstered the deck lid to cover the holes it created while recovering the headliner, A-b-c pillars to remain looking OEM . Added corded OEM phone from a 1996 (unfortunately its analog won’t work) but looks more period correct to me. I have also updated for 2025 a full LowGlow under-glow kit along with a simple extension into the trunk for shows.

i found her in a storage yard had been sitting for about 3-4 years, bought it, towed it home and started wrenching. My goal was to maintain an overall factory look with very subtle but noticeable to the correct person what’s been modified. Thank you for your consideration.
