Audi sent less than 1700 of this body style to the USA in 1990/1991. i built the chassis in my garage at home by myself. my friend painted it here as well. the exhaust manifold was made in a shop, not by me. and all of the aluminum goods custom made by my friend and i, between my garage and his. the plan for this car is 9 second quarter mile passes. tube framed front end, done by me.
592 (for now) AWHP 4cyl 1.8T 20v motor. Bullseye Power S366XL T4 divided inlet turbo on custom twin scroll manifold. twin Tial MV-s v-band wastegates, open dump. AEB head with CAT 3652 cams, Supertech springs/retainers/inconel exhaust valves. AEB block with 83mm bore JE pistons, Integrated Engineering rifle drilled H-beam rods, 144/20mm.
gutted interior. one Corbeau seat, stock dash shell with custom panels. full 10 point roll cage, installed by me. measured and designed by me, bent by S&W Racecars. 12 RCI cell for AWIC ice-water reservoir.
Euro Cab front bumper. S2 rear bumper. Euro plate tub. Reiger side skirts. Carbon Fiber B4 hood.
my own design coilovers. Eibach 900 lb/inch springs in rear, QA-1 650 lb/inch springs front. Bilstein HD Sport strut inserts. custom rear tie rods, front steering rods. all heim end rods, no more tie rod ends. custom axles by A1CVTech. 01E 5 speed trans with solid center differential. Clutchmaster FX-700 twin plate clutch. Centerline Convo-Pro rims, 15 x 8.5 rear and 15 x 7.5 front. M&H Racemaster drag slicks, 24.5 x 8.5 - 15.
