STREAMING VIDEO QUESTIONS

TheFOAT IS NOT STREAMING THIS VIDEO.
TheFOAT is the credit card processor and security software gateway. Thus, if you are experiencing intermittent video disruption, it is not TheFOAT, but the streaming video service chosen by the event organizer. The streaming video you are going to watch is being carried over the Internet, not cable television. Thus, you understand that you may experience intermittent video disruptions (downtime) at times.

  • I CAN'T SEE THE VIDEO AT ALL
    • The web player requires the use of Flash. Unfortunately, Flash is no longer supported on some browsers (such as Chrome) unless you install Flash yourself. We recommend you try installing Flash, using another browser (such as Firefox or Safari), or using another device.
  • THE VIDEO IS FREEZING
    1. You do not have enough bandwidth, causing the video to pause as it re-buffers.
      • Unfortunately, this video is not available in low-resolution streams, so there is no solution for this problem.
    2. You have plenty of bandwidth, but your wi-fi is intermittent or low quality, or your internet itself is intermittently dropping the connection.
      • You may try using a dedicated connection instead of wi-fi.
      • You may try rebooting both your computer and your router (and wi-fi router if it is separate).
      • You may need to contact your internet provider to diagnose your connection.
    3. Your computer is maxing out on processor or memory.
      • This can happen for many reasons. The best resolution for this is to reboot your computer to clear out any processes that have gone out of control. Also, make sure you do not have any other programs running simultaneously.
  • I KEEP GETTING BOUNCED/KICKED OFF
    • If you are getting kicked off of the video and keep having to re-enter your ticket number, it is because you are only allowed to view the event on one device at a time and our system has detected a newer login on a different device or browser.
  • I WANT TO WATCH IT AGAIN
    • Re-plays/re-airing of the event are handled by the event organizer. If you wish to contact them about it, please do so directly.
  • TheFOAT IS NOT STREAMING THIS VIDEO.
