Popping out of the Mosquito jungle put us on this Pahoehoe lava flow that leads out to Fishermans trail up to Beach Rd where I have a stealth entrance that drops down under a Banyon tree that has big slippery roots with a 90 degree turn at the bottom to climb up and out to a nasty rough rock strewn trail with big cracks and drop offs hidden in the tall brush that leads back down to the electric blue ocean...Pro Mauna Kea 200 riders Dave, Grant, and Steve were the only riders that hung in there with me for the whole Secret X Ride.
