One nine inch Advaced DC motor in the front running into a VW Garado five speed transaxle through a Centerforce solid copper puck cluch and race pressure plate into a Quaife differential. Two eight inch Advanced DC motors in the rear with a chain drive to a shop built independent suspension, We are using bullet proof axles by The Driveshaft Shop in Salisbury, NC. We had a lot of trouble with twisting off rear axles in the beginning :-) We ran 240 volts of Exide Orbital batteries feeding the motors through two Zilla 2000 amp controllers.
