EMBED TO SHARE
Various configurations over the years. First a single 9" Advanced DC Motor which kept twisting off output shafts and gears on the stock transmission. Next we installed a Richmond Gear six speed with Centerforce clutch and solid copper puck disc. Next we installed two 9" Advanced DC motors and a TCI Powerglide with no torque converter. We started originally with a 1000 amp prototype predecessor of the Zilla controllers by Otmar Ebenhoech. Next we ran two Zilla controllers that had a peak of 1400 amps, then we ran four T-Rex 1000 amp controllers by Damon Crockett of DC Power Systems.
Full cage to NHRA specs, racing seats, 2000 amp, amp meters.

This is the first street bodied car to break 100 mph in the quarter mile back in 1998. It still holds a NEDRA World Record from 1999 in MC/B class which is "Modified Conversion B class. The B is for the voltage range. I turned 11.2 at 108 mph on a relatively low voltage of 216 volts of lead acid batteries. We are now rebuilding the car to run 360 volts.
