Factory Specifications:
Rare, 1951 split window ragtop VW bug. Only year for 'crotch coolers' (front quarter panel vent flaps). Stock color. (Bordeaux Red).
Performance Modifications:
A(2007cc)vw motor with a T-3 turbo kit with a small cam, small header and small intake runners. It has a small Holley 350cfm 2 bbl carb. The thing boosts instantly for tons of low rpm torque. I'm running 10# boost on pump gas. Boost fully in by 3000rpm. 180hp and 200ft/lbs torque@4100rpm. No heat issues, and I can drive it all day long.
Late-model VW trans with 3:88 gears.
Interior Modifications:
Gene Berg shifter and a couple of gauges. A period-correct VW accessory steering wheel. (Banjo)
Exterior Modifications:
Lowered. Period-correct accessory Hella driving lights up front.
Tires, Wheels, and Suspension:
BRM wheels 205/75/15 rear, and 155/65/15 front. 4 wheel disc brakes with stock E-brake.
