The entire track had to be widened and work began on a new uphill section. Another "small" job was constructing all of the roads and buildings that would be needed for the track. Over the summer, an estimated 250 loads of gravel were brought in just to build the driveway. In addition, approximately 200 loads of topsoil were used to cover the track, and widen the jumps. Approximately two miles of fence had to be built, and three new buildings were erected. The pride and joy of the track, "The Tower", took almost two months alone to build. The Tower stands three stories high and is used as the registration booth, paramedic headquarters and announcer's viewpoint. A new concession stand was also built which houses enough cooking power to feed an army. The last of the buildings to be built was a small pump house, used to store the pumps and electrical equipment.
2003 they decided to host 3 hare scramble events, which are races through the woods. So they had to make a 6.5 mile trail for the events. Then in the spring of 2005 work began on a trail system that sprawls over the entire 800 plus acres of Mile Mountain. The trail system is used for ATV and dirt bike leisure riding and has color coded trails to meet the different riding abilities of the riders. Also in 2005 the work began on the Supercross track. This track is a condensed, more technical course and they added lights so that they could race at nighttime. Another addition was the large gravel parking lot.
